Cali born. Canadian lake girl at heart. A storyteller by nature. Always craving a new adventure.
Being outdoors is one of my favorite ways to spend time, whether that’s paddleboarding, hiking, playing sports, or enjoying a day at the beach. Some of my fondest memories are from summers at my family’s cottage on Grand Lake in Canada.
When not with family and friends, you can find me reading a good book or watching a movie. Traveling is a passion of mine, especially when I have the chance to explore new places, meet people, and learn about different cultures.
Meaningful, purposeful work drives everything I do. Whether it’s advocating for children’s and women’s rights or contributing to a team’s success, making a positive impact is what matters most to me.
A PERSONAL FAVORITE
The Nightingale, by Kristin Hannah
Set in France during World War II, The Nightingale explores the war through the lives of two sisters who face unimaginable loss, sacrifice, and danger, yet, in their own different ways show undeniable courage and resilience. Learning our history, about major historical events that affected the everyday lives of ordinary people, has made me wonder: how many personal stories throughout history have gone untold? As someone who looks to pursue a career in journalism, this beautiful novel reinforced my interest in bringing attention to stories that deserve to be heard.
